Designed to raise funds for children's charities
Christie and Walter Isenberg founded Concerts For Kids in 2004 with its inaugural concert, Earth Wind & Fire with Chicago. The event was an instant success and the following years brought talent such as Lionel Richie, Chris Issak, Daryl Hall & John Oates, Seal, Michael McDonald and Heart. The Isenbergs, along with every participating artist, believe that children are entitled to the best healthcare available and a quality education.
Concerts For Kids raises funds in several ways:
- An annual benefit concert that invites local corporate communities to participate through the purchase of sponsorship packages and individual tickets.
- Co-branding with Live Nation through concerts and other musical events.
- Five additional ancillary events.
Concerts For Kids has established strategic partnerships with organizations like The Children's Hospital Foundation in Denver, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Denver Public Schools Foundation and various educational programs. One hundred percent of the net proceeds from each concert is disbursed locally to pre-selected beneficiaries.
