Celebrity Waiter Fundraiser
September 19, 2008
Elway's
Denver, CO

Thank you for attending Concerts For Kids Celebrity Waiter Event on Friday, September 28, 2007! With your support, we were able to raise just over $64,000 in one fabulous evening. It was a smashing success that earns you a big THANK YOU from all of us at Concerts For Kids!

In the true spirit of fundraising, John Oates teamed with Walter Isenberg (a.k.a. IsenOates) to sing “Maneater” – a definite crowd-pleaser. But not to be out-done, Denise Plante raised the most funds in the shortest amount of time by wowing the whole restaurant and singing “FAME.” From John Soto’s unique cocktail attire to Josh Hanfling’s wet t-shirt costume and Omar Jabara's afro, everyone pitched in to make the night one to remember!

Thank you for your willingness to help such a great cause. With every event Concerts For Kids does, we never fail to be amazed at the generosity of our guests and your dedication to helping improve the health and education of the children in our community.

Bowl-A-Thon
March 2009
Lucky Strike Lanes
Denver, CO

Thank you to LSL for their donation of lanes, food and drinks and also to all of the tremendous bowlers and volunteers that showed up in support of Concerts For Kids on March 12, 2008 at Lucky Strike Lanes!

In the true spirit of fundraising, the winners were trying to BUY their trophy – CBIZ and Sage Hospitality Resources’ “Pink Ladies” fought to the bitter end for the honor of receiving the “Pink Pin” trophy! After 15 minutes of counting points back and forth, we declared a tie and BOTH teams ended up with over 900 points and a trophy to display!

The Top Fundraiser trophy was awarded to Brad Robinette of Sage Hospitality Resources for his outstanding solicitation skills! He led the pack with a total of $1,090 in pledges! Not far behind were second and third place winners, Mike Murray ($630) and Alexandra Walterspiel ($545), also of Sage. Thank you to everyone who raised additional funds for CFK – with your help, we were able to raise just over $9,000 in one, short evening!

Though raising funds for CFK was the focus of the evening, competition is truly the name of the game and we thank the volunteers for helping to keep the game as honest as they could, though I do believe a couple of referees were “bribe-able!” I have listed all the teams and scores below so you can all see who earned the bragging rights for this year’s Bowl-A-Thon:

JW Marriott (689) vs. Oxford Hotel (613)

Sage Leadership (810) vs. Sage Pink Ladies (971)

Sage Accounting (521) vs. Sage Development (706)

WIN Foundation (552) vs. Denver Outlaws (582)

Courtyard Marriott (448) vs. DMCVB (628)

Andrisen Morton Women (320) vs. Andrisen Morton Men (565)

CBS4-Denver (476) vs. King Soopers (425)

Atlas Medical Team 1 (619) vs. Atlas Medical Team 2 (573)

CBIZ Team 1 (989) vs. CBIZ Team 2 (626)

Elway’s of Cherry Creek (533) vs. Capital Grille (680)
