2010 Camp Jam Scholarship Contest
Wednesday, July 14 from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM
Tiri's Garden Farmers Market, 15th & California
Concerts For Kids will be awarding one lucky winner a scholarship to Camp Jam Day Camp in Denver on July 14! CAMP JAM is the ultimate summer rock music camp for kids and teens created by renowned rock guitarist/songwriter Jeff Carlisi, of 38 Special, and his longtime business partner Danny Lipson. Held in 17 cities across the U.S. and Canada, Camp Jam offers a number of unique music programs for musicians of all skill levels, including a summer day camp for rockers ages 11 to 17. Gaining national prominence since its launch in 2004 as an innovative summer camp, the Camp Jam program gives young musicians the chance to meet others their age for the rock ‘n’ roll experience of a lifetime - from forming their own bands and playing a concert to hanging out with rock music legends. More importantly, Camp Jam offers them the opportunity to improve their performance skills, build confidence and practice teamwork; all lessons that last long after their week at Camp Jam is over.
Concerts For Kids will be hosting a contest on Wednesday, July 14 for eligible kids to show their stuff - and potentially win a free week at Camp Jam in Denver (July 26-30)! Contestants must be between the ages of 11 and 17 and perform in one of the following four mediums: vocals, drums, guitar or keyboard. Only the first 25, eligible applicants will be able to compete on July 14th; each contestant will have three (3) minutes to perform for our panel of judges. Click on the links below to read the rules and regulations as well as print the registration form.
After reading the rules and regulations, please submit your completed application form via email ( Info@ConcertsForKids.org) or fax (303.605.2884). All eligible applicants will be notified via phone and email; those who are not eligible will receive a courtesy notification via email.
Make sure to register sooner than later for the opportunity to win a week of Camp Jam, the best rock music camp in town!
